Mikey Lion Bio
Part mythical desert harlequin, part modern soul conductor, Mikey Lion is more than a DJ––He’s a freak of nature and a controller of energy. The San Diego-native has earned a dusty mystique over the past few years as the center of the Desert Hearts movement and as a house and techno provocateur with a stage presence that suggests he will ride this wave all the way to the top. If there's one thing Mikey does well, it's get the party started.
Lion has brought the mothafuckin' ruckus to the stages of Lightning in a Bottle, the dustiest storms at Burning Man, and The Do LaB at Coachella, earning nods from Claude VonStroke, Jamie Jones, and Green Velvet in the process. In doing so, Lion and his signature top hat have developed a boisterous voice in the House & Techno scene with strong tribal, hip-hop, and psychedelic elements.
Aitor Etxebarria is the man behind the mystic artist from Bilbao “El_Txef_A”.
Aitor, born and raised in the Basque Country, is in that group of artists sparingly measuring their output, always searching for the new, aiming for high quality instead of constant, monotonous releases. El_Txef_A stands for a specific and complex sound signature. His primary concern to develop a sound that people can identify with as well as just simply enjoy freely.
In his discography we find releases on labels like “Permanent Vacation”, “Mule Electronic” or “Hypercolour”. Aitor has released two long play Albums “Slow Dancing in a Burning Room (2012)” and “We Walked Home Together (2014)” on his own imprint, Fiakun.
It’s common to see him playing every week around Europe and America. At an early age, he has played in many of the leading clubs in the underground scene like Watergate (Berlin), Verboten (New York), SpyBar (Chicago), Module (Tokyo)…
Hisham Zahran bio
Corporate slave by day, DJ by night: some call it a contradiction yet Hisham believes it’s the best of both worlds. Alongside his brother and production partner Adham Zahran, Hisham has seen consistent releases on labels such as Mood Music, Audio Tonic Records, Brown Eyed Boyz and many more. Equally skilled behind the decks, his gigs have taken him around the globe from Brazil & Mexico to Spain & The Czech Republic, as well as The United States and the UAE – playing alongside the likes of Daniel Bortz, Dusky, Matthias Meyer, DJ T, MANDY, Noir and Jody Wisternoff.
His Next Level show on Proton Radio has been a monthly favorite amongst fans for over seven years with no sign of slowing down. Listen to any one of Hisham’s collections and you’ll be guaranteed an unforgettable musical journey.
With a residency at Nacelle House Sessions, Cairo’s biggest underground party, Hisham Zahran has carved himself a solid niche within the ever-growing electronic scene.
