MIRUS GALLERY TO HOST COSMIC-INSPIRED SOLO SHOW WITH PORTLAND-BASED ARTIST, ADAM FRIEDMAN
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Mirus Gallery, located on the top floor of 540 Howard Street, announces its latest exhibit, Into the Aether, by Portland-based artist, Adam Friedman. The new solo show will open with a reception from 7 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 20 and will run through Saturday, July 11. The reception will be open to the public and is complimentary.
“I relish in the mysteries of nature, and I’m curious what happens when we view the cosmos through a lens that breaks the rules of our understanding,” says Friedman. “I strive to present a moment that defies human intervention in the universal landscape, and pays homage to the potential in the inexplicable.”
In addition to works on canvas, Into the Aether will display multiple 3D paintings incorporated in an immersive mural installation. Inspired by physics, multiverse theories, modes of perception, and the limitations of knowledge, Friedman’s work aims to expand viewers' perspectives beyond his previous earthly tone and out… into the aether.
