Hippie Sabotage - https://youtu.be/jy8-GFyIZ5A
The Sacramento born and bred producers (and brothers) have created an eclectic sound that stems from their early roots producing for bay area rappers. Now finding their niche somewhere between aggressive trap beats to chilled downtempo anthems (Stay High). Performing for the first time together this past March, Hippie Sabotage plans to roll with it during their first run of shows.
“Wherever the people want us to be is where we’ll show up. It’s kinda the mantra of 2015.” –Hippie Sabotage
Louis Futon - https://soundcloud.com/louisfuton
Philly beat maker Louis Futon happens to be making his name in the future bass world over on the East Coast side of the music spectrum. After listening to his music and feeling the feels in which each track exudes, we knew that Friday the 24th of July was going to be a special night. The City of Brotherly Love’s Louis Futon has been having a hell of a 2015. From his fire remixes of Phony Ppl’s “End Of The Night” and G-Eazy’s “Let’s Get Lost,” to his self titled Louis Futon EP to the news of collaborations with the likes of Dillon Francis and Bassnectar. Additionally, he’s been hitting the festival circuit hard — making debuts at Coachella, Counterpoint, Euphoria, Summer Camp Music Festival and many more to come including What The Festival, Paradiso, Camp Bisco and more. His most recent track couldn’t have come at a better time, “Oakland Tho” features a healthly blend of future bass and trap, plus vocals from DJ Mustard & Vell’s “Oakland” that work perfectly. This one hits hard.
Gravez - https://soundcloud.com/gravez
Lil Gravity aka Yung Gravy aka Gravez Has accumulated over 7,000,000 plays within a couple months, 22-year old Atlanta-based producer Gravez has made a name for himself with reinterpreting music from the likes of Drake, Jaden Smith, Rae Sremmurd, Flume and much more. With his futuristic-trap and artful style, you can expect the young and rising Atlanta native to expand his repertoire to much bigger things in 2015. Gravez has continuously provided stellar back to back releases whose sounds have been featured on Complex, Hypetrak, Diplo & Friends, Thissongissick, BBC Radio, Okayfuture, Hillydilly, Earmilk, Pigeons & Planes, Indieshuffle, DJ Booth, AshleyOutrageous and more. Gravez was recently able to attract the attention of the global-multinational corporation, Nike, in which they enlisted Gravez to score a 30-sec commercial for their SNKRS App.
With artists like OG Maco, Rome Fortune, Young Thug and iLoveMakonnen pushing the envelope as emcees in Atlanta, Gravez his beginning to carve his own lane among the wave of producers creating unconventional backdrops helping Atlanta natives to stay ahead of the curve sonically. Gravez is now working on up his debut ep which is set to release later this year as well as having much more in store for us between his original works, remixes and collaborations.
