Dutch DJ and producer Dannic , started as a 20 year old to play in his hometown Breda (NL), the city where Holland’s best DJ’s such as Tiësto, Hardwell & Funkerman were born. While making edits and remixes of tracks, his uplifting work got picked up by some bigger DJ’s.
His first succes as a DJ came in 2009 when he won the Dancetour DJ contest which gave him a spot on the Dancetour bill and the chance to play his own material to a crowd of 10,000. After that he made an uplifting, danceable interpretation of Funkerman’s “ Automatic” which made him a winner of the remix contest. It was obvious, Dannic was here to stay.
In 2010 Dannic began his production career, resulting in the very first release on Hardwell’s imprint Revealed Recordings called “Get Down Girl” (together with Hardwell) which stormed the charts on both radio and download portals. At this time, Dannic’s funky uplifting sound was noticed resulting in some great remixes for Armand van Helden, Dualtec, Nicky Romero and Chuckie. These remixes got compiled on all the major compilation cd’s. As a member of DJ duo “Brainless” he produced more electro tracks which are supported by Tïesto, Marco V. and Laidback Luke.
For the last year Dannic released some highly worthy tracks such as Smack & Spank, Subway (together with Beauriche) and an official remix of Chuckie & Hardwell’s “Move It 2 The Drum”. His superb MashUps and Bootlegs like “Axwell vs Julie McKnight – How Soon Is Glory” & “Rihanna vs Afrojack – Only Girl MashUp” got him huge support around the globe. New releases will see the light in 2011 when his remixes for big names such as Olav Basoski, George Acosta, Praise Cats and The Footclub are getting released.
As being resident of several venues he really knows how to work the crowd while mixing & mashing live with his technical skills.
With his residency in club Bermuda, Eindhoven and great upcoming gigs & releases on their way it is hard to deny that Dannic is about to funk you up!
